Once again, Tebow gets all the credit for the Broncos' 16-13 victory

I really wish the Broncos' defense would cut it out. For the fourth time in Tim Tebow's six starts with the club this year, the Broncos yielded 15 points or less, in holding San Diego to 13. But, of course, it was Tim Tebow and that explosive Broncos offense which was the main reason for the team's 16-13 overtime victory. I'm sure the defense is getting a little tired of Tebow being heralded so much, as they've hardly gone noticed in the team's recent victories. Excluding the 38 points the Broncos scored against Oakland, they have put up the following point totals with Tebow under center: 18, 10, 17, 17 and 16. Yup, that's it.

Can we please just tell it like it is? Tim Tebow is not losing games for the Denver Broncos. That's it. He's been a more athletic version of Trent Dilfer when he was with the Baltimore Ravens. Tebow isn't the fastest guy in the league, but is a big, powerful runner, who has turned the ball over just one time in his six starts. With the Broncos now being the top rushing offense in the league, all Tebow has needed to do is complete a pass here and there, run effectively and not turn the ball over and he has done that. The running backs, defense and special teams have taken care of the rest. That's it. That's been the formula. So long as the tailbacks are effective, the special teams do their job and the defense plays well, in conjunction with Tebow not turning the ball over and making a play here and there, the Broncos will have a chance to win ball games. However, if one of those components has an off-game and Tebow is forced out of his comfort zone and has to throw the ball accurately and often, that will cause problems for both he and the team.

Up next for the Broncos is an away game against the 2-9 Minnesota Vikings. Considering their opponent, this could very well be another victory for Denver, which would vault them to 7-5 in the AFC West. In the meantime, I'm going to overstock on Advil, as I sit through the Tebow orgasms shared by the likes of Skip Bayless and other such ESPN commentators. For these guys, Viagra is no longer necessary. They'll soon come out with a similar product - Tebow. As the games typically last about 3 hours, these commentators should be safe from having to call their doctor due to having an erection lasting more than four hours.

P.S. I would like to congratulate Tim Tebow for completing 50% of his passes in Sunday's game against the Chargers (9 for 18). It was the first time in his six starts that he's accomplished this feat.

Boycotting jukeboxes because of TouchTunes

I love music and enjoy hitting the bar(s) over the weekend, so naturally, when the mood strikes me, I've never been coy about playing some songs on the jukebox. This past Thursday, a friend of mine turned 50, so several friends of her's, including myself, all met up to celebrate the occasion. At around 9:30, a friend of mine and I both chipped in $5 to play some songs on the jukebox. Four hours and 231 skips later, we gave up on hearing the songs we had selected, and went home knowing we had just wasted $5. This wasn't the first time such a thing had happened to me (and many others), and due to that, I'll be boycotting jukeboxes. Why? The scam known as TouchTunes. You see, here's how the plot typically breaks down. A person (or group of people) downloads the TouchTunes app on his/her phone, consumes one too many adult beverages, and due to this, has less care for spending extra money to hear the songs of their choosing right NOW. That's the thing with TouchTun

The difference between "looking" and "checking out"

I may be way off with these numbers, but it's my approximation that at least 75% of individuals whom are involved in a serious relationship feel it's perfectly acceptable to "check out" members of the opposite sex they're not involved with. Meanwhile, approximately 25% either don't feel this is acceptable or aren't sure about the matter. I hadn't thought about this matter for a while, but since I've been dating a woman for about 8 months, the topic has been pondered about some. When reading or hearing others discuss this very issue, I often times hear comments similar to the following: "It's human nature to look." "There's nothing wrong with checking others out. I'm sure he/she does it too!" "It's fine to do it. Just don't tell your boyfriend/girlfriend about it or do it in front of them!" "It's natural to find people attractive." When observing the array of comments, I i
