The Serious Scale of Sarcasm: More Balanced Than a High-Heeled Clown On a Tight Rope (2007/Paperback)

- "'6-stars!' I must say that I've never read a book quite like this one, but that's a good thing in this case.

First off, one has to love the title. It's perhaps one of the longest titles I've ever seen and yet one that I can't forget.

I love how the book opens up, with these random and personal, yet very entertaining stories. From the time he was mistaken as his friend's sister to the time a cop pulled him over in the driveway to a couple of very strange dates, these stories are bound to make some scratch their heads, but will make the majority laugh whole-heartedly.

The book then dives into and out of different topic material, through short stories, sarcastic remarks, and/or footnoted research (the footnotes are rather humorous as well). While I didn't agree with everything he had to say, nothing that he wrote ever angered me at all. Even the portions where I may have disagreed with the author, he used such humor or language, that while I may not have agreed with his view, I enjoyed reading about it.

The best part of the book, in my opinion, is when Rozniecki dissects President Bush's slip-ups at the mic (AKA Bushisms) with his own little wisecracks. This part of the book brought me to tears on a few occasions, it was so funny.”

The Kind-Hearted Smartass (2011/Paperback and Kindle)

- “L.O.V.E.D this book...great if, like me, you're a Smartass In Training (Kind-Hearted or Otherwise)...and in need of some inspirational reading material. Craig ‘Craigy’ Rozniecki is the Anthony ‘Tony’ Robbins of Smartass Life Coaches! Thank you, Craig, for teaching me everything that I shouldn't do on a date, everyone I shouldn't agree to go out with on a date, and...how to answer when repeatedly asked about being gay! Those smartass comments aside...FANTASTIC, ENTERTAINING, and MIND ALTERING read... BUY...THIS...BOOK!”

- "You are so talented, Craig. I can't wait to read more."

- "OMG Craig. I love the way you write."

The Kind-Hearted Smart Aleck (2011/Paperback and Kindle)

- “The Kind-Hearted Smart Aleck book, written by Craig Rozniecki, was so funny. From the very beginning Commentary, which was hilarious, to the last pages of Friendly-Fire. I laughed so hard at the Bush Quote Commentary that people began to give me disapproving looks. Of course, I was in a hospital waiting room at the time, so they may have had a legitimate reason, I suppose. The reading of this book sure made the waiting time go by quickly for me and I had a much better time as well. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to laugh, has an understanding and appreciation for the smart-aleck sense of humor, and who likes to poke fun at just about everything. Glenn Beck fans are not included in this list, although those that love to poke fun at him are.”

Penetrating the Heart of Life: Ambiguous in Thought, Ambivalent in Feeling (2011/Paperback and Kindle)

- "I enjoyed the poetic journey the writer has taken me on. From darkest days and hopeful optimism to the conclusion of hope realized. The visual images that the poem titled ‘Room Temperature’ elicits, made me think of the song, ‘Horse With No Name’ sung by the band America. In a similar manner, another poem – ‘Deafening Sigh-lence’ reminded me a great deal of Simon & Garfunkel’s song, ‘The Sound of Silence’. There are so many poems in this book that I related to, that I felt a connection to the author and felt that we were traveling on this journey together."

- “I bought this in book form, quite awhile ago. it's a book I recommend to anyone on a path out of darkness, for whatever reason, looking for the light at the end of the dark tunnel. the author takes you on his journey through the dark to lightness and healing.”

LOL at the GOP (2012/Paperback and Kindle)

- “LOL at the GOP is a wonderfully written book, which is packed full of humor and facts. I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much so that I would read it again and not just let it gather up dust or use it as coaster. I highly recommend reading LOL at the GOP. By the way, you’re welcome.”

- “This is a very funny book, if you’re a Democrat. The author uses a comical, intelligent, and often times, sarcastic way of looking at the strategies and antics of the GOP. I really did laugh out loud, which is much better than my usual rants and rages. You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry and quite possibly go mad. And most importantly, you have got to vote in November. Please!”

- “Craigers blasts the GOP with their own words(most of the time)when he improvised, it'.s even better(truer)highly recommend this to dems/lib's/anyone in the middle(Rep wont like it so much cause it .speaks truth)”

- "You're funny! Hehehehe"

- "Oh yeah, I can see nuns enjoying Playboy - NOT! But this intro is hysterical! I haven't even gotten to the best part and I'm already laughing my ass off! What am I going to do with you? Seriously!"

- "You are funny! And I feel smarter already!"

- "I haven't read much more of your book but it is hysterical! It's taking me back to 2012 and I'm learning as I read and remembering some of the crazy stuff that happened back then."

- "And I really do feel like a genius when I read your books. I guess it's because the GOP is chocked full of idiots and you are very adept at pointing that out!"

LOL at the GOP – Volume 2: 47% Awesome 100% of the Time (2013/Paperback and Kindle)

- “Lol at the GOP volume 2 is a wonderful book for political junkies and those who are interested in the events that transpired prior to the 2012 presidential election. This book is great for people who love facts, but also has a sense of humor, since this book does showcase things in a humorous and oh-so-sarcastic (which is quite lovely) spin. Rozniecki has delivered another great book.”

- “Another book that allows me to laugh at the GOP is always justified. This book gives a humorous take on the unbelievable topics that the Republicans deemed important to Americans. This is a must for those who want to relive the most nonsensical extremist beliefs and non-policy plans in facetious, hilariously amusing ways.”

- “Once again, Mr.Rozniecki scewers the GOP with his unique style of satire and wit.The GOP did make it easy for him tho.The presidential election is fertile ground for his particular brand of humor. It's a terrific blend of fact and fiction,The man does his homework but he also doodles during class. If you liked Vol 1, you'll like this better.I personally cant wait for Vol 3....keep em coming Craig.”

LOL at the GOP – Volume 3: Guns Don’t Kill, Cars Don’t Drive, and Ovens Don’t Bake (2013/Paperback and Kindle)

- “Well, Craig Rozniecki has done it again! This is his third volume of the series - LOL at the GOP - and it made good on its promise. Volume 3 delves into many Republican representatives opening their mouths and uttering ridiculous soundbites. The book's main focus is on the gun debate going on in America. The writing entitled 'They're going to take away my guns!' especially made me laugh and then cry because it's all so true! This author will have a great career with this series because the GOP keeps on giving and giving, crazy talk that is!”

- “Great book well written and researched”

https://www.amazon.com/Lol-gop-guns-drive-ovens/dp/1304099687/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=craig+rozniecki&qid=1612997937&sr=8-11

LOL at the GOP – Volume 4: Guns, Jesus, Corporations, and Fetuses (2014/Paperback and Kindle)

- “In ‘LOL at the GOP, Volume 4,’ Craig Rozniecki exposes the hilarity that is the Grand Old Party. With deft comedic skill, Rozniecki reveals absurdities of the ‘guns cuz God’ gang. While successfully employing humor as a tool, this work does much to enlighten one to the overwhelming ironies of GOP positions...all while making your sides hurt from laughter!

At once both lighthearted and devilishly sardonic, Rozniecki takes a swing at the Conservative belief system, connects, and hits it out of the park. He will crack you up from page one all the way through to the final word.

‘LOL at the GOP’ is the perfect antidote for this current stress inducing election season, whichever side of the aisle you're on.

It's a politically incorrect (popular among Conservatives) look at the GOP and is sure to have you LOL-ing!”

LOL at the GOP – Volume 5: You Can’t Spell “Forgot to Take Their Crazy Pills” Without “Tea Party” (2014/Paperback and Kindle)

- “Rozniecki at his finest!! He has the brilliant mind with his satirical humor yet drives home points in his books. Know people tired of the GOP, get this series of books.”

LOL at the GOP – Volume 6: Orange Is the New Crazy (2016/Paperback and Kindle)

- “I've been waiting for the next installment of Craig Rozniecki's, LOL at the GOP series. And I am not disappointed. The GOP orange man has given us ‘Yuge’ piles of fodder so I am not surprised at the timing of Craig's new book. I'm so thankful for the humorous take on recent events because, honestly, I've been on the verge of tears every time ‘It’ opens his mouth. My family has been checking on psychiatric wards in the area because I've been arguing with and sometimes screaming at my television screen whenever the Orange, racist, misogynist, bigot...appears. The belief is that if ‘It’ wins I will have a nice padded room awaiting my arrival. and truthfully, I will be happy to go! I think that I need to reread ‘Orange Is The New Crazy’ to make me laugh again.”

- “If you need to laugh to keep from crying over the absurdity of this election year then ‘Orange is the New Crazy’ is a must read. Craig Rozniecki has written a crazy funny but seriously insightful look back at the 2016 Republican Primary and Presidential nominee Donald Trump. This is a must read for political junkies, satirists or those who missed the craziness of the 2016 Republican Primary.

In a Fictitious Forward, Craig skillfully crafts a job interview where Donald Trump explains to Reince Priebus why he is best qualified to lead. For me, this alone was worth the price of the book; I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. Craig sets up each section by starting with real facts and events (with references) that leave you either terrified by what could have been or wondering what elementary school playground this all took place. He then wraps those crazy events in humor such that you feel much better but still have a clear understanding of just how serious this all was (or is).

This book is insightful, well researched and incredibly funny. He gives us accurate historical insight into the events of 2016 then wraps it in humor that makes you feel a bit better about the whole mess. The way in which Craig applies real world behaviors and mannerisms in these fictitious but believable segments is nothing short of pure brilliance.

Part poli-sci history and part laugh out loud funny; ‘Orange is the New Crazy’ is informative and serious but heals with humor and laughs. This was the first book I have read by Craig, I highly recommend it to lovers of this genre and am now a new fan.”

- “Craig Rozniecki's LOL at the GOP -Volume 6: Orange is the New Crazy had me in stitches from page one. I mean, it's yugely funny. I've been following Rozniecki on Twitter for quite a while but this is the first of the LOL books I've read. I'll be back for more.

Starting with the book review written by Trump in the ‘fictional forward,’ it's almost impossible to parse Rozniecki's comedy from what Trump & other GOP stalwarts actually said throughout the campaign. I was bigly confused and chuckling at the same time but Rozniecki's adept at pointing out the comedic Trump et al comments from his own. Believe me, hard to tell. And that's the beauty.

Chapter by chapter, he takes on Cruz, Walker, Jindal, Carson, Priebus & Bush, etc in fine comedic fashion, wrapped up in pointed political insights. From flat-earthers to hypotheticals to a comment by Cruz that JFK would be a republican today to Carson's (lack of) knowledge about the Middle East, Rozniecki couldn't make this stuff up and does an expert job at poking holes & fun at the same time.

The GOP campaign shenanigans & infighting come alive in Rozniecki's expert hands. I was shaking my head & laughing aloud again at the absurdity of it. Having him put his comedic spin on it was priceless as I revisited the ‘high’ points of election '16.”

- “Really good for a pick me up. Laughter is healthy and the was always a good line around the corner. My only negative comment would he the red footnotes were distracting. Perhaps should go at the end if the chapters . Lines are great and you can imagine Craig as a stand-up comedian with the audience howling. Recommended for sure. Must fund si e more of his books”

- “Perfect summary of the mess that is the 2016 presidential election, focus on Trump. Read it, you won't regret it!”

- “First, I will say I'm Tracy Fort, Craig's partner on the Tracy and Craig Show. However, I'm capable of writing an impartial review.

Craig is without a doubt one of the smartest and gifted people I know. I knew I made the right decision asking him to co-host the show. His brilliant mind is shown in his satirical writing.

This book is a must buy for all political buffs. This will be a book we look back on and ask ourselves - HE really was the nominee??? In the book, the author charmed us with stories of the what if's and showed just how ridiculous Trump and the Republicans were. While satirical in humor, I just can see some of these conversations occurring. Gotta laugh to keep from crying type of thing.

I can't recommend this book enough! I also suggest you check out Craig's other books. Pure perfection!!”

- "I really like the name of that book!"

- "I'm reading your book and laughing my ass off! It is funny as hell and scary too because I can hear Trump's voice in my head as I read - in other words you are spot on!!! OMG!!! And I didn't know that anybody else knew 'It Wasn't Me' by Shaggy! I thought I was the only one!"

- "OMG! 'This Bush is better than the last one.' My husband is probably wondering what the hell am I laughing at. Poor guy. Did you mention whether or not you've done stand up comedy cause you would be really good at it if you haven't!"

- "You would be good at stand up comedy! You're funny as hell and I think that you would have a big following! Think of your podcasts as preparation for stand up, you would be really good at it!"

- "I just finished your book and I laughed so hard."

- "My number one favorite author is Stephen King but now you are my number two favorite author for all of the laughs!"

The Art of the Steal: How a Chump Became School President (2017/Kindle)

- “While it is a short read, it is also a pleasantly poignant escape from the from the stark reality of our world today. The reader is guided through a story line of a short-sighted, ego-driven character who strives to be school President and the mindset he uses to get there. Sometimes in the midst of chaos it is healthy to just step back and laugh at the folly of it all. This book did that for me. Kudos Mr. Rozniecki, I have a feeling we will need more of this in our very near future.”

- “This is a timely reminder of how political machinery would manipulate a section of the public to elect a reality TV personality to run a powerful country. But the best part of this short read is the clever way the writer satirises the whole presidential election one can't help but laugh out loud. Brilliant work; this was recommended by @SirBSeb via Twitter, thoroughly enjoyed. 👍👍👍👍”

- “Laugh out loud funny. "He’s going to build a bowling alley and make the teachers pay for it!" Anyone wanting a quick recap of the last U.S. election can get it here in a quick, entertaining read.”

- “A simple story about a school election, but it's very reminiscent of something...oh I know--2016. I'm looking forward to the sequel, where Chump learns that cheating doesn't pay. Great job, Craig!”

- “Funny entertaining and it seems like art is imitating life. Great read”

- “This is a timely, insightful look into our president, and explains how he found the keys to 1600 PA Ave. It gave me much-needed giggles at a time when I find myself screaming at the evening news every night. Perfect beach read.”

- “I loved Orange is the New Crazy and same for Art of the Steal. Both are timely, funny and quick reads. Political satire at it's best. Looking forward to the next one!”

“This book is absolutely hilarious! Reading this had me actually "laughing out loud" and I'm sure most would find it quite intriguing. The author accurately depicted the election in the funniest way possible. Definitely worth the read!”

- “I literally pissed myself laughing! What fantastic summation of the last USA election. I loved the line that Chump "was as inconsistent as a drunkard at a urinal..." 😂😂😂. Well written and I'm looking forward to your next writing; no pressure hahaha. Cheers Craig 👍😁🇺🇸🇫🇷”

- "Best satire I've ever read. Extremely entertaining. I had tears of laughter throughout. It's a short story that I wanted to go on and on and on. I absolutely loved it. Craig Rozniecki has the best words; bigly words. Believe me when I say his career as a brilliant writer will be yuge. For only $0.99, it's a 'steal.' Believe me. Must read!"

- “I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down until I got all the way through.  I appreciated the witty likeness to the political campaign.  Real issues are cleverly addressed with a sense of ironic humor that is nothing short of entertaining. I look forward to more from this author!"

- "ATTN SNL: Your Writers' Room table needs 1 more chair...

This is a delightfully audacious tale about an overdressed bully who somehow became the school president. Whenever the latest political news has you ready to hurl a coffee table at your TV, do yourself a favor: turn off the TV, take a few deep breaths, find a comfy chair, and read this hysterical book.

Mr. Rozniecki's exceptional writing and imaginative sense of humor help us to find some much-needed laughter within a reality that has all of us reaching for Captain Jack Sparrow's bottle of rum.

It would also be amazing to see how the cast of SNL could interpret this priceless story on stage..."

- "I'm reading 'The Art of the Steal' and I'm up to Chapter 5 and I'm laughing my ass off!!! This book is so funny in a yugely bigly way. You know, just so bigly, yugely funny!!! Small hands and all!!! I really love reading your books!!! They help me get my mind off of this version of reality that we are living in because of the pandemic. Yeah, Trump has his own version of reality and it is not the same as what the rest of us are experiencing!

Keep on writing because your books are awesome!!! Oh, uh, yugely bigly awesome!!!"

- "OMG, Ronald Chump trying to light his farts on fire with a flashlight!!! Oh this is hysterical!!! And I'm shaking my head going seriously?! Kind of like Trump saying how you could inject yourself with disinfectant. Yeah, okey dokey smokey."

"Oh, I got a good chuckle out of my hubby when I told about ‘The Art of the Steal’ and how Chump was trying to light his farts on fire with a flashlight. A good hearty chuckle he had! So, thank you for making my hubby laugh! Now he wants to read your books too! So, keep writing your awesomely funny books and I’ll get you more readers! Thank you!!!"

- "I also told him (my husband) about 'The Art of the Steal' and how I learned so much about the 2016 election. Yeah, my husband and I were perplexed, him more so than me, that how could Hillary win the popular vote but lose. Well, 'The Art of the Steal' explained it quite artfully (yes, pun intended). Yeah, whether you mean it or not your books are quite educating, well with some snark added in which makes them so much fun to read lol."

LOL at the GOP – Volume 7: Obstruction of Conscience (2018/Paperback and Kindle)

- “I loved this book! I couldn't stop laughing as it is absolutely hilarious!!! I just can't believe some of the quotes from some of the GOP in this book it was like they were setting this up for Craig to write commentary! So, if you don't like the GOP or Trump then read this book you'll be laughing as well as getting enlightenment on some of our distinguished Senators and Representatives. I can't believe some of the things that they said! Thank you Craig for this book!!!”

- "I did get to read more of Volume 7 and I was laughing hysterically at some of your writing!!! You are indeed hysterical and truly gifted at writing!!! How do you come up with the stuff you write? Some of it was just there for you to pick, just ripe I guess. I can’t believe some of the stupid things that politicians say! Especially members of the GOP!!! It’s as if they were dropped on their heads at birth or something?!"

- "Damn you Craig I can't get Trump's version of the National Anthem out of my head 'Jose can't ever see...' argh!!! And I keep laughing."

- "I laughed my ass off the last time I was reading it. You are a pretty funny writer!!! And the material, it's like the GOP has said these things and handed them to you on a silver platter!!! What were/are they thinking - not much I guess from what is in your book. I love the role playing that you write up, you know the scenarios. Based on what so-and-so said let's look at this in a different light and put it this way: oh yeah, very funny!!! Love it!!!"

- "Okay, so I'm reading your book and I love where you have a quote from Corey Lewandowski uttering 'You have to let Trump be Trump...' and right now I have CNN on and in about an hour will be the beginning of Trump's second impeachment and I'm thinking wow:: so are Trump's lawyers going to 'let Trump be Trump?' I would say not because he'll lose if they do... lol"

- "I'm laughing my ass off at 'Jose can't ever see'!!!"

- "And then I finished the book... Loved it!!! It's funny as hell!!!"

- "Yugely loved it!!!"

- "This is a Must Read!!!

Trumplandia (2019/Kindle)

- “Witty humor is marbled throughout ‘Trumplandia.’ This book takes the many serious issues of today's political climate and wraps them in humor and irony. This talented writer finds a way to break it down to a level that you just can't resist laughing through. You'll have to experience it for yourself though, as this is just ‘library-talk!’”

- “I needed a little humor. Parts were hysterical. I am pulling for Jima.”

- “Trumplandia is just the kind of thoughtful humor that is needed right now. This story will remind you (in the event you've been encouraged to feel otherwise), that natural things such as thinking, asking questions, and sincerely seeking to understand someone or something, are all GOOD things.

So, if you're a fan of satirical comedy, great writing, free thought, and understand that simply asking 'why' is not a crime, I really think you'll enjoy 'Trumplandia.' There's only one way to find out for sure though..."

- "I just got the kindle edition of Trumplandia! I just read the first page and I'm like okay, this book is going to be funny as hell! I can't wait to finish it and let you know what I think. You are really funny!"

- "I just wish that the book was longer. It's funny and I love the names and the fence analogy. The part about the mother home schooling. Well that part of the story reminded me of the step-monster. I had to double-check and verify that the book came out in 2019. Because you got the step-monster down pat!!! I really did like the book though."

- "Okay, so I started reading your book again. I got to the part about fake photo, it was authenticated. Fake author thing. And then it goes into do no research, ask no questions, don't learn nothin' because learning will rot your brain.

You see this got me thinking about keeping people down. If they're not educated then they won't know of the injustices perpetrated against them. They're not ignorant just un-educated in order to keep them in a position that is beneficial to others but not them. In other words it made me think about slavery and how it was against the law to teach slaves how to read or write. It's easier to oppress a group of people if they are uneducated. If they are uneducated then they won't be able to question how they're being treated and used. Once they can read and write they can then see the injustices and start asking questions about how slavery is wrong. And then they'll want their freedom.

I know kinda deep but that's what that part of your book made me think about. Probably deeper than what you intended. But it fits!"

- "😍 You’re a funny dude, Craig! Love it!!"

Boycotting jukeboxes because of TouchTunes

I love music and enjoy hitting the bar(s) over the weekend, so naturally, when the mood strikes me, I've never been coy about playing some songs on the jukebox. This past Thursday, a friend of mine turned 50, so several friends of her's, including myself, all met up to celebrate the occasion. At around 9:30, a friend of mine and I both chipped in $5 to play some songs on the jukebox. Four hours and 231 skips later, we gave up on hearing the songs we had selected, and went home knowing we had just wasted $5. This wasn't the first time such a thing had happened to me (and many others), and due to that, I'll be boycotting jukeboxes. Why? The scam known as TouchTunes. You see, here's how the plot typically breaks down. A person (or group of people) downloads the TouchTunes app on his/her phone, consumes one too many adult beverages, and due to this, has less care for spending extra money to hear the songs of their choosing right NOW. That's the thing with TouchTun

The difference between "looking" and "checking out"

I may be way off with these numbers, but it's my approximation that at least 75% of individuals whom are involved in a serious relationship feel it's perfectly acceptable to "check out" members of the opposite sex they're not involved with. Meanwhile, approximately 25% either don't feel this is acceptable or aren't sure about the matter. I hadn't thought about this matter for a while, but since I've been dating a woman for about 8 months, the topic has been pondered about some. When reading or hearing others discuss this very issue, I often times hear comments similar to the following: "It's human nature to look." "There's nothing wrong with checking others out. I'm sure he/she does it too!" "It's fine to do it. Just don't tell your boyfriend/girlfriend about it or do it in front of them!" "It's natural to find people attractive." When observing the array of comments, I i

The verdict is in. To no one's surprise, Jonathan Hoenig has been found guilty of being an idiot.

Just recently, when discussing the Michael Brown shooting and whether or not race had anything to do with it, Fox News contributor Jonathan Hoenig said, "You know who talks about race? Racists." One moment while I provide Mr. Hoenig with the well deserved slow-clap. :: slow-claps for two seconds :: So, that was quite the line by Mr. Hoenig, wasn't it? "You know who talks about race? Racists." Well, wasn't he just talking about race? So, by his own words, I guess that makes him a racist. Also, if he wants to be consistent, does this mean that people whom talk about gender are sexists and people whom talk about sexual orientation are homophobes? With that line of thinking, Hoenig would engage in the following back-and-forths: Hoenig: "So, who are you voting for?" A woman: "The Democratic candidate, because he's been adamant about his support for equal rights for women." Hoenig: "You sexist feminist nazi!"
