Like many others of his party, Rick Santorum has decided to join the crazed Obamacare conspiracy circle, where the members join hands, drink spiked Kool-Aid, and sing the new song "Kumbaya Against Gays" in unison.
At a Young Americans for Freedom event last Friday, Santorum said the following during a speech he made:
"It's actually a pretty clever system (Obamacare). Take care of the people who can vote and people who can't vote, get rid of them as quickly as possible by not giving them care so they can't vote against you."
I could tear this conspiracy theory apart a number of different ways, but will decide to go the logic route this time.
What Rick Santorum is implying is that Obamacare will take care of those whom can vote, but will kill those whom can't vote as quickly as possible, so that these very people can't vote against you.
Let's think about this for a minute, which is approximately sixty seconds longer than Santorum obviously thought about matters before speaking. The legal voting age is 18, so according to Rick Santorum, it's President Obama's goal to kill those under 18 and perhaps minorities, women, and elders in certain states, due to them having problems voting because of voter suppression laws passed by the Republican Party. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense...
So, mixing Rick Santorum's conspiracy theory with facts, here's our basic breakdown:
1) Obamacare will take care of people whom can vote and do away with people whom can't vote.
2) The Republican Party passes voter suppression laws to make it more difficult for typical Democratic voters, such as women and minorities, to cast their votes.
3) Due to all this, it's apparent that President Obama's ultimate goal with Obamacare is for it to kill many Democratic voters which would help to keep it as law.
Does that all sound about right, Mr. Santorum? In your own demented mind anyway?
It would have made a lot more sense if Santourm had altered his statement slightly so that it centered around the GOP's voter suppression efforts, and he said this:
"It's actually a pretty clever system (voter suppression). Take care of the people who will vote for you and people who won't vote for you, get rid of them as quickly as possible by not giving them the opportunity so they can't vote against you."
