Oregon has been involved in so many blowouts that the team has played their back-ups, coaches and waterboys in the second half more than they have their actual starters. Even then, though, the Ducks lead the nation in scoring, averaging to score 54.8 points per contest. How good is the Ducks offense? In 10 games this season, Oregon has scored 348 points in the first half - an average of 34.8 points each game in the first 30 minutes. Out of 124 Division I-A college football teams, this would rank the Ducks 34th in scoring. That's right - after the first 30 minutes of action, Oregon outscores 72.6% of the country when playing an entire 60 minutes. Just imagine how great their overall offensive numbers would look if their starters had stayed in the games for the full duration throughout the course of the season!
