I had to laugh at Ndamukong Suh's "reason" for stepping on Aaron Rodgers' bad leg (twice), saying that his feet were numb from the cold. Really? So, even though Rodgers had been hobbling around and even had to leave the game earlier due to reaggravation of a calf injury, Suh accidentally stepped on the quarterback's calf not once, but twice, just by accident, without appearing to be in any hurry to get off the hobbled quarterback's leg, because his legs were numb from the cold? Is that right? And since it was an "accident" and Rodgers pushed on Suh's leg to get him off of it, Suh didn't think to look down and say, "Oops, I'm sorry. My legs were numb from the cold"? Wow... Well, if and when Suh retires from football, I think it's a safe bet he won't become a lawyer. Due to his awful excuse, don't be surprised if he says the following things in the future: - "I only held that guy because my hands were numb....

Being born in Nebraska and having lived there for 26 of my 32 years, a large majority of the people I know still reside in the Cornhusker state and keep in touch with me via Facebook. Following the Seattle Seahawks' 23-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday night, I've been rather surprised by the number of Nebraska fans whom have harshly criticized Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman's post-game comments - going as far as to call him an a*shole, who is bound to be in a prison cell one day. While I'd be the first to admit that Sherman's comments were over-the-top, I also think the story has gotten completely blown out-of-proportion and I find it highly ironic that, Nebraska fans of all people, have the gall to say such things with regard to Sherman's post-game rant. Jack Hoffman is a 7-year old boy from Nebraska who has unfortunately been battling brain cancer the past couple of years. After two go-rounds of brain surgery, approximately 95% of the tumor was removed, but the other 5% has been declared inoperable and has altered in size since the second operation. The youngster has made a few headlines in recent weeks. In Nebraska's spring game, he was handed the ball on a play and ran for a 69-yard touchdown, before being picked up and cheered on by the team, the fans in the the crowd, and people all across this country.
