I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently. I was in Michigan a week/week and a half ago for a cousin's high school graduation party. My brother, sister-in-law, and niece flew in from Omaha, and then traveled back to Ohio, before heading back home yesterday. So I've hardly had time to breathe, let alone write. Things should be a little calmer around the area starting tomorrow, though, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get back into a good, regular flow, release another book or two before too terribly long, and explore some options as far as podcasts are concerned. Thanks for your patience. I haven't forgotten about you. Be expecting some new writings very soon!

As many now know, yesterday was the first day people could check out their healthcare options under the Affordable Care Act at healthcare.gov. While there were numerous reports of people experiencing problems on the site, this was largely due to heavy traffic. This will occur on many sites, such as Twitter, on especially busy occasions. So how did some members of the Fox News team and other like-minded individuals take this? Obamacare is unpopular and has failed. Allow me to explain something to Fox News and company - when people are having trouble logging into a site due to heavy traffic, that means the site has an extremely large number of visitors at that moment. This means the site was quite popular yesterday, glitches and all.  With this kind of thinking, Fox News would probably think the following: - "Traffic was bad because of the game? I guess not a lot of people went to the game then, huh? That's disappointing. It really is." - "You had to wai...

As I'll likely be too busy tonight spending time with family, tomorrow spending time with my girlfriend, and spending time with my dad on New Year's watching college football games, I thought I'd wish all my readers a very Happy New Year! With the holiday this week and the fact I'm currently proofreading and editing another manuscript of mine, I haven't been quite as active with this blog in recent days. Hopefully, shortly after the holiday, I'll have the book finished and ready to go for release, and I can get back to being more active on this site. In the meantime, I wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday weekend! Don't do anything Charlie Sheen would do!

It feels like I haven't blogged in weeks (even though it's just been a few days). I do have a reason for that - I've been hard at work on my sixth book. I finished fact-checking and getting all 106 of my footnotes placed last night. I'll now be proofreading and editing it over the next day or two, then work on the cover and hopefully within the next week, I'll be completely finished with it and ready to spread the good word of it being available within a couple weeks. In any case, I'll try to blog some more before too terribly long, but they will be few and far between until I can get this book completely finished and ready for publication. I'm pretty excited. It's kind of a short read (cheaper in price then), but with the election just 5 months away and my buddy's political radio talk show only a couple months away, I felt the need to work on, finish and get this book out as soon as I possibly could. I haven't been able to blog much in recent days. I went out of town last weekend to spend some time with friends and family. I was then notified that I may be taking part in a political radio talk show starting in August (recording in July) and have been trying to put together a semi-short book in the run-up to the election.
