Podcast: I Feel Snitty Episode 195: Can You Hear Me Now? Part 2 Premiere Date: 6/14/2022 Length: 7:34 (1,217 words) Link: https://ifeelsnitty.podbean.com/e/can-you-hear-me-now-part-2/ Transcript:    Welcome to I Feel Snitty , episode 195, entitled, “Can You Hear Me Now? Part 2.” I’m your host, Craig Rozniecki.   In the 2 nd of 7 scheduled hearings on the January 6 th domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol, there were a few things of note.   First, former Attorney General William Barr’s favorite post-election word when describing Donald Trump is “bullshit.” He also laughed at felon right-wing nut job Dinesh D’Souza’s latest unintentional mockumentary, 2,000 Mules . As a self-plug on my own show, I just thought I’d let it be known, whenever I get my voice back from this seemingly never-ending cold, I will record a parody I wrote about the aforementioned unintentional mockumentary. To the tune of The Proclaimers’ hit song, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” ...

"Truth isn't truth!"

On Meet the Press  this past Sunday, former New York City Mayor and current Trump stooge Rudy Giuliani got into the following back-and-forth with host Chuck Todd: Giuliani: "And when you tell me that, you know, he (Trump) should testify because he's going to tell the truth and he shouldn't worry, well that's so silly because it's somebody's version of the truth. Not the truth. He didn't have a, a conversation --" Todd: "Truth is truth. I don't mean to go like --" Giuliani: "No, it isn't truth. Truth isn't truth. The President of the United States said, 'I didn't --'" This wasn't the first time someone affiliated with Donald Trump attempted to push such a narrative, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun with it. Since even before his inauguration, Donald Trump has called most mainstream media outlets, "Fake news." Kellyanne Conway has referred to lies purported by ...

Quoted in Portugal's largest-selling newspaper, Expresso!

Late last night/Early this morning, I was contacted by a journalist in Portugal, who wanted to hear my take on Rudy Giuliani's recent "Truth isn't truth" quote. His article was then published. You can either click on the link and then click on the logo to the left of the star (bookmark) to translate the article from Portuguese to English or read the translated version here ( https://leitor.expresso.pt/diario/20-08-2018/html/caderno-1/temas-principais/sarcasmo-pasmo-e-preocupacao-uma-discussao-sobre-a-verdade-que-nao-e-verdade ): RUDY GIULIANI Sarcasm, amazement and worry: a discussion about the truth that is not true by Hélder Gomes "Truthfully, it's not true' goes into the Trump Hall of Fame, overcoming even 'alternative facts' and 'remember: what you are seeing and hearing is not what is happening'", sentence to Professor Laurence H. Porn Hypocrisy and Double-Standards

Former New York City Mayor and current former lawyer posing as a stand-up comedian - Rudy Giuliani - has recently come under scrutiny for making the following comments during a speech in Tel Aviv: "Stormy Daniels? Pfft. Look at her. You have to respect on this stage every woman. Yes, I respect porn stars. Don't you respect porn stars? Or do you think porn stars desecrate women, do you think porn stars don't respect women, and therefore sell their bodies? I respect all human beings. I even have to respect criminals, but I'm sorry I don't respect a porn star the way I respect a career woman or a woman of substance or a woman who has great respect for herself as a person and isn't going to sell her body for sexual exploitation. So Stormy, you want to bring a case, let me cross-examine you. Because the business you're in entitles you to no degree of giving your credibility any weight. And secondly, explain to me how she could be damaged. I mean, she has no re...

The week in Trump backer screw-ups

It's been a rough week for Donald Trump backers. Not only have his poll numbers dipped, many of his supporters have publicly displayed their lack of knowledge with regard to history and the English language. Here are just a few of the highlights (or lowlights, I suppose): 1) On CNN, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson anchor Victor Blackwell, "Remember, we weren’t even in Afghanistan by this time. Barack Obama went into Afghanistan, creating another problem.” Let's see here... We invaded Afghanistan on October 7th of 2001; President Barack Obama was inaugurated on January 20th of 2009; George W. Bush was president at the time of the invasion. Hmm... Did 7 years disappear from us? Am I really only 28? Did Bush's presidency never happen? Did I take the blue or the red pill? Ah, nevermind. Ms. Pierson apparently knows history like Donald Trump knows monogamy. 2) Katrina Pierson told the Fox Business Network the following: "The voters want someone that’s gonna ...

For Rudy Giuliani, time is NOT on his side

Due to the tragic ISIS attacks in Brussels, Belgium, politicians have been making the rounds on talk shows, providing their two cents on how to better combat terrorism. While many on the left have blamed discriminatory laws and many on the right have blamed refugees, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani decided to go a different route, saying the following as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor : "She (Hillary Clinton) helped create ISIS. Hillary Clinton could be considered a founding member of ISIS. ... By being part of an administration that withdrew from Iraq. By being part of an administration that let [former Prime Minister Nouri al-] Maliki run Iraq into the ground, so you forced the Shiites to make a choice. By not intervening in Syria at the proper time. By being part of an administration that drew 12 lines in the sand and made a joke out of it." The problem with the mayor's argument is the concept of time. Let me provide him a basic timeline of relevant ev...

When it comes to Beyoncé, conservatives doth protest too much...

When it comes to Beyoncé, I've long wanted to say to the right, "Doth protest too much." There were Bill O'Reilly's comments in 2014: "She (Beyoncé) knows - this woman knows - that young girls are getting pregnant in the African American community. Now it's about 70 percent out of wedlock. She knows and doesn't seem to care. She should be smart enough to know that what's she doing now is harming some children." There was Mike Huckabee in 2015: "It was President Obama who said in an interview with 'Glamour' who said that some of the lyrics he won't listen to with his daughter because it embarrasses him. Well, here's my point. If it embarrasses you, then why would you possibly think it's wholesome for your children to put it into their heads?" He added: "They're great parents (the Obamas), they're careful about making sure that their kids get a lot of vegetables and eat right, that's te...

America breaks up with Rudy Giuliani

Following former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani's controversial comments with regard to President Obama not loving America, America has officially responded by writing this op-ed in the USA Today : "Dear Rudy, I'm not going to beat around the bush here (no, not even Jeb); I think we should break up. I just don't love you anymore and I now have to wonder if I was ever really that into you in the first place. It's not me; it's you. Sure, we had our good moments. I'll never forget the time when we played strip poker with your cousin, I mean ex-wife. Then there was that other time we tried to make up diseases which rhymed with Giuliani. 'Tooliani' is still probably my favorite. Oh, and do you remember when you bet me that you could utter '9/11' at least once in every answer you gave the media during a press conference, and this was 7 years after the attack? Yes, you may have won the bet that day, but you lost me in the long run. It's ...

The GOP holds a "We Love America" rally

In a surprise move, potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates decided to gather together and hold a "We Love America" rally, and in so doing, defend former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani's statement that President Obama "doesn't love America." The rally, which appeared to be a spur of the moment event, was aired on Fox News, where several aspiring leaders of the Republican Party made it known just how the president is supposed to illustrate his love for the United States of America. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush started the rally off by saying, "You know how you show you love America, Mr. President? You show you love America by lying about the pretenses of a war and getting thousands of our soldiers killed all because of oil and wanting to show your daddy up! I'd sure as hell do that, and do you know why? Because I love America, dammit!" Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal followed Bush, saying, "If the president really loved...

Giuliani: "Most wives don't love their husbands."

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani made a startling statement in an interview with TMZ  this week, when he said, "I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I seriously believe that most wives don't love their husbands." Giuliani, whom has himself been married three times, once to a second cousin, went on to state, "Very rarely do I hear wives tell their husbands things like, 'You're the most exceptional husband in the world,' and instead they will often times criticize their husbands. I'm sorry, but if a wife doesn't love all of her husband - every single thing about him - and doesn't think he's the greatest man in the world, then she can't truly love him." The former New York City mayor wasn't done there, as he added, "Look, if our wives truly love us - their husbands - we have to hear about this love all the time. Instead of saying things like: 'Why didn't you take the garbage out this morning?' ...

Giuliani: "Obama doesn't love America"

At a private dinner at the upscale 21 Club in Manhattan on Wednesday night, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani said the following during a speech he made: "I do not believe -- and I know this is a horrible thing to say -- but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn't love you. And he doesn't love me. He wasn't brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through the love of this country." He also said that he would support a presidential candidate whom expressed that the United States is "the most exceptional country in the world," adding, "And if it's you Scott (Walker), I'll endorse you. And if it's somebody else, I'll support somebody else." After receiving some backlash for his remarks, Giuliani appeared on Fox News and attempted to clarify that he was "not questioning [Obama's] patriotism," adding: "He's a patriot, I'm sure. What I'm saying is, ...
