At a press conference yesterday, Secretary of Energy Rick Perry raised some eyebrows when he shared his doubts about the earth being round, saying this: "I've just gotta get this out there. I'm getting sick and tired of scientists and experts and people who know what they're talking about telling me that it's for certain the earth is round. They call us skeptics, round skeptics or whatever. They act like this is fact, but is it? Is it really? How would we know unless we drove from one end of the earth to the other? Who's done that? Nobody! So how do we know? Who has the time to do that anyway, you know? When you fly on a plane, does the stuff below you look round or flat?
