As long-time readers should know, I can't stand Fox News. Excluding Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace, Fox News talking heads are notorious for spreading BS. There's a good reason why Fox News sounds so similar to fake news . Having said that, though, I don't understand the Democratic Party's reluctance on presenting town halls there. One problem with the Democratic Party's electoral success at times has been their failure to reach out to rural, conservative-leaning Independent, and moderate Republican voters. No, it's not likely  Elizabeth Warren could be part of a Fox News-hosted town hall and be able to win over many regular viewers of the channel, but it couldn't hurt. Bernie Sanders, arguably the most liberal member of Congress, took part in a Fox News-hosted town hall not too long ago, and guess what? He received rave reviews. While I didn't hear any Fox News regulars yell out, "Bernie 2020!," I did hear several say something along the ...

As long-time readers should know, I'm not a fan of the conservative right, and this is especially the case of hyperbole-obsessed right-wing media personalities. Regular readers should also know I've long stood by our Constitutional right to freedom of speech, but even so, believe freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequence. This brings me to the recent such case involving Fox News personality Laura Ingraham, who has come under fire for posting this tweet about Parkland survivor and activist David Hogg: "David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges Which He Applied and whines about it. Former George W. Bush speechwriter and current Fox News contributor, Marc Thiessen, wrote an article yesterday which I felt needed mentioning. During an interview on Fox & Friends , conservative commentator and professional Barbie impersonator - Tomi Lahren - had this to say with regard to the NFL protests: "I would like to ask these players 'What exactly are you kneeling for and why have you chosen the flag and the anthem to do it?' I bet if we asked a hundred players, we would get a hundred different answers. And then further more, I would like to ask those same players, 'What would it take to get you to stand and respect the anthem?' And again you'd probably get a hundred different answers, if you'd get an answer at all." Tomi Lahren is probably right. I was beginning to wonder where former Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson had gone. Shortly after she began speaking to Fox News's Ainsley Earhardt and Wendy Osefo on Fox & Friends  this morning, I remembered why she was likely replaced in the first place. Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski just uttered something so ridiculous, I'm thinking he may have serious potential in stand-up. The sad part about it is, however, he wasn't joking. Due to the tragic ISIS attacks in Brussels, Belgium, politicians have been making the rounds on talk shows, providing their two cents on how to better combat terrorism. While many on the left have blamed discriminatory laws and many on the right have blamed refugees, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani decided to go a different route, saying the following as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor : "She (Hillary Clinton) helped create ISIS. Remember when then President George W. Bush visited a mosque not long after the 9/11 attacks? If you answered no, you're not alone, for it seems many Republican politicians don't recall this event either. Even before Barack Obama visited a mosque yesterday, which was the first time he had done so during his presidency, Fox News, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and others felt the need to criticize him for it. As I've been doing following every GOP debate, I thought I'd update my candidate rankings. For the second consecutive year, there's been a lot of talk about the lack of minority nominees at the Oscars. On a recent episode of Fox & Friends , Clueless  actress and Fox News contributor, Stacey Dash, had this to say about the controversy and calls for boycott: "I think it's ludicrous, because we have to make up our minds.
