I read an article last night, entitled, "O'Reilly Has The Guts To Point The Finger Where It Belongs," and it made me want to point my finger and say a few things to the article's author, Daniel Greenfield of the ultra-conservative site, FrontPage Mag . This may go down as the most racist article I've ever read. The piece starts with this: "When do black lives matter? When white people take them." Oh, it only gets better from there... "That's the theme of #BlackLivesMatter, a racist movement which claims to care about black lives, but actually helps take them by weakening the police officers who are the only thing standing between armed gang members and black urban residents." At least once a week, I stumble upon an article so atrocious, I have to double-check to make certain it wasn't written by someone at the satirical site, The Onion . Today, I may have stumbled upon the most ridiculous article I've read this year, if not my entire life. The article was written by Victor Davis Hanson at the far right-wing site, National Review , and entitled, "Obama and Trump: Two of a Kind." Yes, you read that correctly. Not being the biggest fan of National Review  and having not been too familiar with Victor Davis Hanson's previous work, I thought I'd research a few of his other articles. Judging by some of his other work, perhaps I shouldn't have been so surprised by how ridiculous this article was. This school year, Chicago will implement age-appropriate sexual education for each grade level, making it the largest urban school district to do so. This includes kindergarten. ::awaits far-right conservatives providing the computer monitor with a look of shock, before yelling obscenities, and calling Obama the Antichrist:: Please re-read the first sentence - "...implement age-appropriate sexual education for each grade level..." For kindergarten and 1st grade, this will equate to nothing more than teaching these kids about "anatomy, healthy relationships, and personal safety." In other words, these kids aren't going to be learning about sexual intercourse, contraception, and sexually-transmitted diseases. Like I've said twice now, the education will be "age-appropriate." Williamson wrote the following regarding former Democratic Arizona Representative Gabby Giffords, who was shot in the head about two years ago and is a major proponent for gun control legislation: "While Ms. Giffords certainly has my sympathy for the violence she suffered, it should be noted that being shot in the head by a lunatic does not give one any special grace to pronounce upon public-policy questions, nor does it give one moral license to call people 'cowards' for holding public-policy views at variance with one's own. Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson had a simultaneous orgasm on Fox News last night when reporting on a video which showcased then Senator Obama criticizing the federal government's response to Hurricane Katrina. As Obama is currently the president, it's safe to say this video is over four years old - in fact, it's over five years old, as it took place in June of 2007.
