So, it appears as if The Salt Lake Tribune has decided to place a great amount of spin on Miss Utah's flub at Sunday's Miss USA pageant - so much spin, in fact, that even Fox News has commented on the matter by saying, "Holy sh*t! That's more spin than Bill O'Reilly gives in the 'No Spin Zone!'" Pertaining to Miss Utah's retched response to NeNe Leakes' question regarding the gender wage-gap, Scott D. Pierce of The Salt Lake Tribune titled his article, "Miss Utah USA's botched answer makes her a star - Marissa Powell didn't win, but she's the one everyone is talking about." Yes, because any time a person becomes "the one everyone is talking about," that has to be a good thing. Just ask Bill Buckner... It seems like every year there's one answer given by a Miss USA pageant contestant which finds its way onto late-night comedy shows for about a week. This year, that honor goes to Miss Utah Marissa Powell. NeNe Leakes asked her, "A recent report shows that in 40 percent of American families with children, women are the primary earners, yet they continue to earn less than men. What does this say about society?"
