Wants to see this as part of a new Jared's commercial...

Here's the idea... The nice setting, romantic music, friends and family surrounding the couple...I will keep all of those elements in tact. I'll then have the man give his girlfriend or wife a $30 waterfall money clip ( http://www.jared.com/categoryProductsAll%7C10451%7C10001%7C-1%7C19074%7C0%7C1%7CCategory%7C19074%7C19074%7C19074 ). The woman will act ecstatic and then an enthused, high-pitched voice will be heard in the background, saying, "He SO went to Jared's."

How's this for stupid?

So, for whatever reason, I decided to do some research on what the people thought about holiday jewelry commercials, in particular, Kay and Jared's. On one Yahoo board, the question was, "Aren't the Jared's commercials awful?" One person responded with, "You remember them, so obviously not." Eh, just because a person remembers something doesn't mean it's quality. It can be the direct opposite actually. If something is seemingly stuck inside one's noggin, there's a decent chance that it's either very well done or so awful it won't go away. In my humble opinion, they were the three worst films I've ever seen. When it comes to moments in my life, I'll likely remember the very best and worst moments more than an...

"He went to Jared's!"

Yeah, so we heard and don't really care. These commercials are quite annoying. I can just hear the exaggerative giddy and high-pitched voices if a man were to buy a gift from somewhere else: "He went to Spencer's!" "He went to Hot Topic!" "He went to Lowe's!" "He went to Wal-Mart!" "He went to the Dollar Store!"

What If the Shake Weight, Kay Jewelers and Cialis Joined Forces to Make a Holiday Commercial?

Personally, I think the shake weight commercials are some of the most unintentionally funny commercials out right now. Cialis is not too far behind in that regard. Kay commercials make me roll my eyes so much that it appears I have a Linda-Blair Complex. So, what if these three teams joined forces to make, what I would refer to as, the ultimate holiday commercial? Let's find out, shall we? This story will include two main characters, Bubba and Chastity. Setting: The two lovebirds are holding hands, smiling, while on the roof of their house, holding antennas during a thunderstorm. Bubba: “So, baby, do you want to do it?” Chastity: “Right now? On the roof? Are you crazy?” Bubba: “Come on, you told me to take it tonight.” Chastity: “Take what?” Bubba: “Cialis. Look at me. I'm ready for once.” Chastity: “It's 6:30. We've got to leave. You made dinner reservations for 6:45, didn't you?” Bubba: “Yeah, at McDonald's. I wanted to make our ten-year wedding ann...
