Other politicians sexting like Weiner

Weinergate (Anthony) has been a great deal of fun for me and most everyone else it seems. However, for as much fun as it has been, I feel the need to spread the love around some. I will now list a number of other political figures and come up with sext messages I feel they may send at some point in their lives (if they haven't already): Michele Bachmann: "God sent me to do things to you! It'll be hotter than a Minnesota winter!" Sarah Palin: "I bet I can see your dingaling from Russia! You betcha!" Jimmy Carter: "Hello. You look nice. Want to go get a hot fudge sundae sometime? Dairy Queen is great around this time of year." Bill Clinton: "Oh yeah... ::bites lower lip::" Dick Cheney: "So I shot my friend in the face with one. How about you help me unload my other gun?" Mitt Romney: "There's 47% of you I don't like so much, but the rest I really like. How about you put that 53% in action at my...

Looking at the Republican Primary and the five main anti-Romney candidates

ABR - Anybody But Romney No, I'm not speaking from the perspective of a liberal democrat not wanting the favorite in the republican primary race (or any republican for that matter) to win the 2012 presidential election. No, I'm speaking from the perspective of a very conservative republican not wanting Romney to be the party's nominee. People can deny it all they'd like, but throughout most of the republican primary, there seemed to always be an anti-Romney candidate coming out of nowhere to challenge the favorite to represent the party in the coming election. Why? Far-right conservatives don't much care for Willard Mittopia Romney. He's a Mormon. He passed something resembling Obamacare while Governor of Massachusetts (his plan actually provided the blueprint for Obamacare). He has tended to be fairly moderate on social issues (until he ran for president that is). Yeah, to the far-right, he's about as liberal as they come, well, outside of any democra...

R.I.P. to the Cain Campaign. We'll miss you...

Donald Trump is gone. Now it's Herman Cain. Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry probably won't be far behind. It's depressing. The entertaining GOP candidates are leaving the party just as it's starting to get good. Who will be left? Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich? Maybe Ron Paul? What fun are those guys? The great late-night jokes which were uttered at these candidates' expense will be sorely missed. All I'll say is, please, reconsider resigning your campaigns, for me? For late-night talk show hosts everywhere? For comedians? It's been difficult for the Republican Party to outdo the eloquence of George W. Bush, but they've certainly been trying with the likes of Trump, Perry, Bachmann and Cain. I suppose the serious side of me should be happy that none of those four will be elected president in 2012. That's what I'll just have to keep telling myself as I watch the likes of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert telling jokes at the expense of politicians.

Herman Cain's ironic statement...

Whether or not the sexual harassment allegations against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain are true, I still find his recent comment to the media rather humorous. After saying time and time again he wouldn't answer any questions regarding the allegations, Cain said, "What part of no don't some people understand?" If the allegations are indeed true, perhaps the guy was talking to himself just as a reminder for future reference. Oh, Herman... I think I could go the sports commentator Chris Berman route with Cain and nickname him "Pee Wee" Herman Cain. Makes sense... http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/11/02/8597534-cain-what-part-of-no-dont-some-people-understand

Herman Cain Delivering His Thick Crust To Women Everywhere!

Honestly, I just loved the line for that title. That's really all I have to say at the moment. I have a good feeling that by the end of this week or perhaps next week, we'll all have a bunch of material to work with regarding Herman Cain and his...mmm...letting women know that he's willing to deliver his extra large sausage pizza into their oven anytime. Vote Cain 2012 - Size matters. Clinton just had a thin cigar. He's got the thick crust.

Donald Trump Calls Out Jon Stewart...For...Eh...Something???

So, Donald Trump went on a rant claiming that comedian Jon Stewart was racist in his portrayal of GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain the other night. Here's the clip: http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=679986 Anything? Anything? Naw. Jon Stewart poked fun at a Republican presidential candidate, who happens to be black. He wasn't poking fun at the candidate for being black. There is a difference. Stewart has poked fun at President Obama, Vice President Biden, former President and Vice President Bush and Cheney, Bill and Hillary Clinton, etc. Name a politician and there's a decent chance that at one point or another Stewart has poked fun at him or her. Best of luck winning this battle, Mr. Trump. In all the years I've been watching "The Daily Show," I've learned one thing - Do not mess with Mr. Stewart. Just ask Jim Cramer, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. Enjoy the show the next few nights here, Trumpy. In the meantime, why don't you go on ...

Herman Cain's New Ad and The Colbert Report's Spoof Of It

So, have you seen the latest Herman Cain ad? Whether you have or haven't, I recommend you view this video clip before reading further. It includes the actual Cain ad along with a spoof by Stephen Colbert and company on his program: http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/400682/october-25-2011/herman-cain-s-campaign-ad Assuming you've watched the clip, is it just me or did the ad appear like a big joke? Like what Saturday Night Live or one of the late-night comedy shows would create? When I first saw this ad, via The Colbert Report, I thought the ad had to be a phony, but upon hearing news commentary and one of the creators of the ad validating the ad, I was at a loss. Honestly, Colbert didn't even have to spoof the ad in order for it to be hilarious upon viewing it. Now there's all this analysis on the ad and what Cain's message and intent were with it. Yeah, best of luck with that. I'm not thinking this ad is anything Socrates or Plato would...

Republicans are always opponents of tax increases, unless it deals with Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan, which would increase taxes for 83.8% of the population...

Yeah, that's right. The arguable front-runner to become the Republican nominee for the 2012 presidential election's tax plan would increase taxes for 83.8% of this country. Republicans recently voted down the American Jobs Act, which would have resulted in a raise of taxes for the top 1-2%, meaning that 98-99% of the country would be unaffected. In Cain's plan, those making anywhere from under $10,000 to $200,000 would see a mean tax hike of $3,381.75, a 950% spike for those making between $10,000 and $20,000 a year. For those making between $200,000 and over $1,000,000? They'd see a mean tax cut of $175,297, including a $455,247 tax cut for those making over $1,000,000. That's right, folks. The anti-tax party, also know as the Republican Party, is a strong opponent of a plan which would increase taxes on the 1-2% wealthiest in this country while leaving 98-99% unscathed, yet support a plan which would increase taxes on the bottom 84%, with the top 16% being the b...

"I don't have the facts to back this up, but..."

Just recently, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain spoke with the Wall Street Journal and said the following with regard to the Occupy Wall Street protests: "I don't have the facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama Administration." Is that not the perfect way to open a sentence, especially if you're a politician? "I don't have the facts to back this up, but..." It's perfect. Cain is now exempt from any possible counters to his statement, regardless of how factual they are or the credibility of the source(s). If someone rebuts his claim with seemingly solid evidence, Cain can just say, "Weren't you listening? It's not like you proved me wrong. I never said I was right. I said, in plain English, that I did not have the facts to back up my statement. It seems to me you just wasted your time." If we coul...
