I've shared some of my work at many sites, ABCTales.com being one of them. All of the comments I had received were very positive, but one I received today was quite puzzling for me. In response to a poem I posted, entitled "Imperfections," the commenter stated that I was "showing off" and she would therefore not comment on the poem. "Showing off"? I perused her account and she's shared poems and stories just like I have, so I'm confused on the drastic contrasts she's observed between the writings on our two accounts. I suppose I should take it as a compliment, for if she felt I was "showing off," chances are she was impressed by the writing, so much so that she felt the need to label me as a show off. I should just respond with a "Thank you" and be on my way.
