And one bad apple, or a choker, you know, a choker, they choke. Shooting the guy.”   Ingraham: “You mean they panic?”   Trump: “Shooting the guy in the back many times. I mean, couldn’t you have done something different? Couldn’t you have wrestled him? In the meantime, he might’ve been going for a weapon, and there’s a whole big ...

Podcast: "I Feel Snitty," Episode 71: "A Hole-in-None" is now available!

The latest episode of my podcast ("I Feel Snitty"), entitled, "A Hole-in-None," is now available! Here's a brief description of it: In a recent episode of The Ingraham Angle , Donald Trump told host Laura Ingraham that shooting an unarmed black man 7 times in the back was a lot like golf. In this episode, I predict future nonsensical sports analogies uttered by Mr. Locker-Room Talk himself. The episode can be heard in its entirety at this link: https://ifeelsnitty.podbean.com/e/a-hole-in-none/

GOPers' double-standards on the past two presidents

It's pretty amazing to stand back and think about how differently Republican congresspeople, media personalities, and voters have treated the past two presidents, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Their knack for the double-standard is really quite incredible. Let's look at the long laundry list of examples: - They criticized Obama for being a "celebrity." At no time was Obama the centerpiece of a reality television program. Donald Trump was exactly this on The Apprentice . - Even Donald Trump himself poked fun at Obama for reading from a teleprompter. Guess who's also read from a teleprompter since his inauguration? That's right - Donald Trump. - One word: Benghazi. Guess what? A similar ambush occurred under Trump's watch in Niger. - Remember The Donald's critical tweets of then President Obama's golf outings? Well, funny story, Barack Obama didn't finish his 102nd round of golf until his 1,273rd day in office. For Donald Trump, that f...

Simultaneously defending and bashing Donald Trump's latest controversial tweet

As he seems to do on a daily basis, Donald Trump came under fire today for retweeting a doctored video of him knocking Hillary Clinton over with a golf ball. Some on the right have defended the president as a "fun guy" and that we all need to lighten up. Some on the left have claimed the tweet proves Trump is a misogynist. In my opinion, both sides are stretching here, Republicans need to stop defending the president, and Democrats need to focus their attention on other things. I don't think it can even be debated anymore; Donald Trump is a sexist. With exceptions, the president typically views women as nothing more than sex symbols, whose sole purpose is to please men's eyes and loins. Having said that, however, what President Trump despises even more than giving women credit based on their actual merits is losing or being called out for being wrong. Donald Trump holds stronger grudges than a teenager nicknamed Sir Grudge-a-Lot. There's a reason why he continua...

Sergio wants to serve Tiger fried chicken

Sergio Garcia won't be inviting Tiger Woods over to his place anytime soon, well, unless he's serving fried chicken, as Garcia stated. When asked by Steve Sands of The Golf Channel if he would be inviting Woods over for dinner during the upcoming U.S. Open, Garcia said, "We will have him round every night. We will serve fried chicken." Garcia then recently "apologized" by saying this: "I apologize for any offense that may have been caused by my comment on stage during the European Tour Players' Awards dinner. I answered a question that was clearly made towards me as a joke with a silly remark, but in no way was the comment meant in a racist manner." Yes, Garcia was asked a question intended to be a joke, and while he may have only been kidding with his response, he should have known better than to have placed Woods in a stereotypical black light with his "fried chicken" quip. That would have been like if Garcia was engaged i...

Women should be admitted to Augusta

I read a Facebook status yesterday asking why it was a big deal that no woman has ever been admitted to Augusta National. I then read an article by a guy asking the same question, both saying, "There are women's only clubs. Why can't guys have this?" They both pointed out these organizations known by all of 14 people whom are members, saying that Augusta's male-only membership was the same thing. A person then commented on my friend's post, saying that it doesn't make sense, just like African-Americans can have BET, yet if whites had such a channel, there would be an uproar. I'm sorry, but are some guys that stupid? What, if men weren't allowed to play at Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field or Fenway Park, would they be okay with it? Would that not be a big deal for male baseball players? Oh, but they had that one park at a middle school in Topeka, Kansas which only allowed males, so all is well then, right? Augusta is arguably the most well-known cour...

If Tebow played other sports...

In previous blogs, I've gone into detail about how Tim Tebow should NOT be the person being praised and heralded for the Denver Broncos' recent winning ways. The defense has come up big, allowing just 14.2 points per game in 6 of Tebow's 8 starts, which would rank them 2nd behind only San Francisco (14.0). In 6 of his 8 starts, the Broncos have averaged only 15.2 points per game, which would rank them 27th (of 32) in the league. The offensive line has also been extraordinary in their run-blocking. The running backs keep coming up large. The special teams have done their job in either scoring points themselves or setting the offense up in good scoring position.  What makes me laugh about all of this is the fact Tebow has played dreadfully in most of his starts for approximately three quarters, before turning things around in the 4th. It's the ol' recency effect - people remember the last thing in a series of events more so than any other. It's what's freshes...
