The Kind-Hearted Smart Aleck

While I have thoroughly enjoyed my Twitter experience to this point, I am quite thankful of the "block" option, especially when it comes to the following demographics: PA (Pacifieroholics Anonymous) : Unless we're talking about our own children, I can't think of a time when a person would say, "You know who I love more than anyone else? Whiners!" Just the other day, I posted a link to an article which a follower didn't find interesting, so she felt the need to comment, saying, "Are you ever going to post anything of importance? Seriously?" Really? If she had read the article and wanted to make a comment about it, so be it, but of what point is there, other than whining, to go out of her way to complain about an article's title which doesn't intrigue her? So, as I typically do, I handed her a pacifier and carried on with my day. Seriously serious : There are times I wonder if people even bother to read my profile before following me....

Moving from Omaha, Nebraska to central Ohio seven years ago prompted me to join the popular social networking site Facebook. It allowed me to keep in touch with old friends, family members of mine around the country, as well as new friends. During work breaks, I'd often times find myself wasting time by playing games on the site, such as Candy Crush, Words With Friends, and Bejeweled Blitz. I was honestly quite hooked on the site for about six years. However, last year at around this time, I suffered what I call FBS (or Facebook Burnout Syndrome). All the Farmville invites started getting old, especially since I've never played the game. Seeing pictures of what people were eating two to three times a day started getting old, sometimes nauseating (especially if it was of the fast-food variety).
