Raven-Symone knows all the "continents" in Europe and Africa!

It continues to amaze me how limited many Americans' knowledge is of world geography. To many long-time residents of this country, it seems as if they feel the United States makes up 1/2 of the planet, with another 1/4 being water, and the other 1/4 being countries like England, Australia, China, and that one other one they can't think of at the moment. Former actress of the Cosby Show  and star of the show That's So Raven , Raven-Symone, continued this seeming trend with a comment she made in a recent interview with E! News. E! has a strange definition of "fun"

During live coverage of the Golden Globes red carpet yesterday, E! displayed this as a "fun fact": "Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991." After receiving complaints, E! came forward with an apology, saying the following: "We regret the insensitive classification of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's diagnosis during our Eonline live stream. We understand the serious nature of the disease and sincerely apologize." Sure, sure... If E! follows this trend, expect for them to air the following "fun facts" in the future: - "Magic Johnson has AIDS." - "Millions of Jews died during the Holocaust." - Michael Vick went to jail for fighting dogs." - "Heath Ledger is dead." - "E! lost sight of the word 'fun' several years ago." http://variety.com/2014/more/news/e-apologizes-for-insensitive-michael-j-fox-fun-fact-during-golden-globes-coverage-1201050846/
