In his stump speech in Mansfield, Ohio today, Romney said the following: "I believe it's important to have a president and I will be a president, if elected, that honors that pledge and all the pledges that I made. [The Pledge of Allegiance] says that we are a nation under God... If I become president of the United States, I will not take God out of my heart, I will not take God out of the public square and I will not take it out of the platform of my party." On Saturday, Romney said, "I will not take God off our coins, and I will not take God out of my heart." This sounds like the start of a joke... What do you get when a Mormon tries to win votes from Christians by saying he won't remove "God" off our coins when no mention has been made of doing so by his opponent? Mitt Fricking Romney! http://thinkprogress.org/election/2012/09/10/823311/in-new-stump-speech-romney-suggests-obama-is-anti-god/
