With the holidays over and the new year beginning, it's time to get back to work. Over the next few months, I'm hoping to release four different books. I have the selected the content for each and will now have to organize, proofread and edit (multiple times), and research a great deal, before finalizing the projects. I've yet to decide on titles or covers for the projects, but can provide a basic layout of each. In 2011, I released the books "The Kind-Hearted Smarta*s" (uncensored version) and "The Kind-Hearted Smart Aleck" (censored version). The two books consisted of humorous (yes, sarcastic) writings of mine - one of which included more adult content than the other. I'll be doing a similar thing with two of my coming books this year. They'll likely both include a lot of laughs, but one may be less liked by grandma than the other... For the other two books, as many know, I've already released three volumes of the LOL at the GOP series. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how one thinks about it, I've been able to gather enough material for two more volumes, at least one of which will focus mainly on the The Tea Party. Yeah, between all of this, continuing to write blogs, and marketing my material, it's going to be a crazy few months. Fortunately, I think I'm just crazy enough to get it all done. I'll continue to keep readers updated throughout the process. Wish me luck! I may need it, for sanity's sake!
My first book review of "Penetrating the Heart of Life: Ambiguous In Thought, Ambivalent In Feeling"
Well, I received my first book review on this poetry-compilation book I completed and published late last year, but have finally gotten around to marketing now. The reviewer gave it 5 out of 5 stars and said: "I enjoyed the poetic journey the writer has taken me on. From darkest days and hopeful optimism to the conclusion of hope realized. The visual images that the poem titled "Room Temperature" elicits, made me think of the song, "Horse With No Name" sung by the band America. In a similar manner, another poem – "Deafening Sigh-lence" reminded me a great deal of Simon & Garfunkel’s song, "The Sound of Silence". There are so many poems in this book that I related to, that I felt a connection to the author and felt that we were traveling on this journey together." http://www.lulu.com/shop/craig-rozniecki/penetrating-the-heart-of-life-ambiguous-in-thought-ambivalent-in-feeling/paperback/product-18677501.html
