"The Year of the Woman" brought to you by Donald Trump

Donald Trump Jr. shared an article yesterday, entitled, "Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman," and as I often times do during the era of Trumpism, I double-checked to make certain it wasn't an Onion article. Sadly, it wasn't.

In his first 24-member Cabinet, Donald Trump appointed 4 women and 4 minorities, which amount to 17% of the total. Under then President Obama, on the other hand, women accounted for 32% of his Cabinet and minorities accounted for 45% of it (7 and 10, respectively).

Any comments about that, Don Jr.?

"Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman."

Approximately 20 women have come forward alleging Trump of sexual improprieties, the latest of which is porn star Stormy Daniels, who once claimed President Trump asked her to spank him with a Forbes magazine which included he and Ivana on the cover.

Jr., any thoughts?

"Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman."

Let's now go over a few quotes made by the president:

- "I've got to use some Tic Tacs in case I start kissing her. You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful-I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a start , they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pus*y. You can do anything."

- "26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?"

- "Women have one of the great acts of all time. The smart ones act very feminine and needy, but inside they are real killers. The person who came up with the expression 'the weaker sex' was either very naive or had to be kidding. I have seen women manipulate men with just a twitch of their eye-or perhaps another body part."

- "You know, it doesn't really matter what [the media] write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass."

- "A person who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10."

- "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that (Carly Fiorina)? Can you imagine that face, the face of our next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not supposed to say bad things, but really folks, come on. Are we serious?"

- "Rosie O'Donnell is disgusting, both inside and out. If you take a look at her, she's a slob. How does she even get on television? If I were running The View, I'd fire Rosie. I'd look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, 'Rosie you're fired.' We're all a little chubby, but Rosie's just worse than most of us. But it's not the chubbiness-Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out."

- "[Arianna Huffington] is attractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision."

- "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps, I would be dating her..."

- "[Kim Kardashian] She's really a nice person. She's gotten a little bit large. I don't think you should dress like you weigh 120 pounds. Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat ass? Absolutely."

- "Heidi Klum. Sadly, she's no longer a 10."

- "It's certainly not groundbreaking news that the early victories by the women on The Apprentice were, to a very large extent, dependent on their sex appeal."

- "The only card [Hillary Clinton] has is the woman's card. She's got nothing else to offer and frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she's got going is the woman's card, and the beautiful thing is, women don't like her."

- "I would never buy Ivana any decent jewels or pictures. Why give her negotiable assets?"

- "[Angelina Jolie] She's been with so many guys she makes me look like a baby, OK. And, I just don't even find her attractive."

- [Megyn Kelly] "She had blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."

- "There was a great softness to Ivana, and she still has that softness, but during this period of time, she became an executive, not a wife... You know, I don't want to sound too much like a chauvinist, but when I come home and dinner's not ready, I'll go through the roof, OK?"

The Donald Jr., do you have anything to say?

"Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman."

Allow me to finish Jr.'s statement: "Trump's first year in office was the year of the woman, so long as the woman: Allowed him to grab her by the pus*y; was young, hot, and always stayed that way; cooked and cleaned like The Bible tells her to do; and knew her place in the world - under him, both literally and figuratively."

A Year of the Woman under quite possibly the most sexist man in our world's history is like A Year of Healthy under the leadership of Ronald McDonald, a Year of Honesty under Pinocchio, or a Year of Happy Sober Hunting under Dick Cheney.

Boycotting jukeboxes because of TouchTunes

I love music and enjoy hitting the bar(s) over the weekend, so naturally, when the mood strikes me, I've never been coy about playing some songs on the jukebox. This past Thursday, a friend of mine turned 50, so several friends of her's, including myself, all met up to celebrate the occasion. At around 9:30, a friend of mine and I both chipped in $5 to play some songs on the jukebox. Four hours and 231 skips later, we gave up on hearing the songs we had selected, and went home knowing we had just wasted $5. This wasn't the first time such a thing had happened to me (and many others), and due to that, I'll be boycotting jukeboxes. Why? The scam known as TouchTunes. You see, here's how the plot typically breaks down. A person (or group of people) downloads the TouchTunes app on his/her phone, consumes one too many adult beverages, and due to this, has less care for spending extra money to hear the songs of their choosing right NOW. That's the thing with TouchTun

The difference between "looking" and "checking out"

I may be way off with these numbers, but it's my approximation that at least 75% of individuals whom are involved in a serious relationship feel it's perfectly acceptable to "check out" members of the opposite sex they're not involved with. Meanwhile, approximately 25% either don't feel this is acceptable or aren't sure about the matter. I hadn't thought about this matter for a while, but since I've been dating a woman for about 8 months, the topic has been pondered about some. When reading or hearing others discuss this very issue, I often times hear comments similar to the following: "It's human nature to look." "There's nothing wrong with checking others out. I'm sure he/she does it too!" "It's fine to do it. Just don't tell your boyfriend/girlfriend about it or do it in front of them!" "It's natural to find people attractive." When observing the array of comments, I i

The verdict is in. To no one's surprise, Jonathan Hoenig has been found guilty of being an idiot.

Just recently, when discussing the Michael Brown shooting and whether or not race had anything to do with it, Fox News contributor Jonathan Hoenig said, "You know who talks about race? Racists." One moment while I provide Mr. Hoenig with the well deserved slow-clap. :: slow-claps for two seconds :: So, that was quite the line by Mr. Hoenig, wasn't it? "You know who talks about race? Racists." Well, wasn't he just talking about race? So, by his own words, I guess that makes him a racist. Also, if he wants to be consistent, does this mean that people whom talk about gender are sexists and people whom talk about sexual orientation are homophobes? With that line of thinking, Hoenig would engage in the following back-and-forths: Hoenig: "So, who are you voting for?" A woman: "The Democratic candidate, because he's been adamant about his support for equal rights for women." Hoenig: "You sexist feminist nazi!"
