GOP candidates write New York Times op-ed

Getting a little fed up with professional fact-checkers researching their claims and telling the world they're wrong, all remaining Republican presidential candidates decided to get together and release the following  New York Times op-ed piece, entitled, "A Fact Is Like Your Opinion, Man": "We're all getting a little tired of fact-checkers listening to and researching what we have to say, and then telling the world we're wrong - you know, doing their jobs. What these fact-checkers fail to realize, though, is that a fact is like your opinion, man. For example, to us, it's a fact that 240% of Planned Parenthood's services are geared toward abortion. It's a fact that all Muslim cab drivers are likely terrorists and saying such a thing is in no way racist. Not only that, but it's a fact that a virgin woman gave birth to the perfect person, who died on a wooden cross for our sins, and rose again three days later, even though we've never pers...

Mitt Romney has earned the whiner vote, which is nice...

In an interview on Radio Iowa Thursday, Mitt Romney's wife - Ann - said the following with regard to her husband being criticized by fellow Republicans: "Stop it. This is hard. You want to try? Get in the ring. This is hard and, you know, it's an important thing that we're doing right now and it's an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt's qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country." I find this to be amusing, because of something that was uncovered in the secret tape which was spilled a few days ago.  During that fundraiser in Boca Raton, Mitt told the donors that he was using his wife on the campaign,  “...sparingly... so that people don't get tired of her.”
In light of Ann's radio interview, rumor has it that Mitt told those same donors from the secret tape, "See? I told you...

Good To Be Single

Ever know a couple and after hanging out with them for five minutes, you look up to the stars, Gods, or whatever you believe in, and say thank you? I've done that a few times, especially recently. I know a couple who's been dating for quite a while and I can't say where they're truly at in their relationship, but they make me grateful to still be single. All they do anymore is fight and argue over the smallest of things, things that most other people wouldn't notice. But the fact that they've been together for an extended period of time and have gotten to know one another better than most, helps them see things that most others cannot. A certain noise one might make when they drink a beer or when they eat a toaster strudel. The look someone will get when they play a video game. A certain word that a person says. All these things and more were on display for me to witness the other day and boy, was that a lot of fun! It was like watching an unhappy old married ...
