I've been hard at work at finishing and releasing at least one new book before the holidays. Fortunately, I think I will be able to finish and release at least one in that time. After I complete the cover and double- and triple-check everything (again), I'll make the book available for purchase in both paperback and Kindle form. The book will be titled, A Collection of Satirical Short Stories: A Bigly Clever Title, and yes, the title is aptly named. I'll be certain to keep everyone up-to-date as I progress through this process. Also be on the lookout for The Kind-Hearted Smarta*s: Volume 3 and LOL at the GOP: Volume 7 in the coming months, not to mention another couple of shorter reads I have cooking up in the ol' noggin here. I am unashamed to admit that I'm a nerd. My idea of a good time is playing a word game like Boggle or Scrabble. Thankfully, I (and many others) can play such games via Facebook and/or my (our) cell phone(s). While it seems that cheating has become more commonplace in these games (Words With Friends in particular) than San Diego has had nice weather, I've yet to give in to that craze. One element present with the game Scramble With Friends (Boggle) not present in Words With Friends (Scrabble) are legal boosts called "power-ups," which cost a number of tokens from the 15 available. I've now tried all five power-ups, including the latest one which costs money.
