Twitter trending-hashtag posts (3/12 - 3/27)

Here are my Twitter trending-hashtag posts for the past couple of weeks. As usual, they're ordered from the most popular to the least popular (all my tweets can be viewed here - https://twitter.com/CraigRozniecki):

1) Donald Trump wants to investigate a comedy that's been around 44+ years. Devin Nunes wants to sue parody accounts. ...and they call liberals snowflakes? Hey, at least we can laugh.

2) 1) In an interview, Trump encourages his "tough" supporters to get violent & posts a tweet about it.

2) One of his supporters kills 49 people.

3) Trump deletes the tweet and sends his "warmest sympathies" to the victims.

Yeah, that seems genuine...

3) Donald Trump may not be legally responsible for the attack in New Zealand, but to say he doesn't bear any responsibility is wrong. He has continually encouraged/legitimized anger, hatred, prejudice, violence, & enabled the crazies to come out of the woodwork.

4) I'm just waiting for a documentary to air, entitled, "From Superman to Super-Douche: The Dean Cain Story."

5) Mueller: "I'm indicting 37 people-"
Trumpsters: "So what you're saying is nothing happened, right?!?"

No, that's not what he's saying.

6) Trumpsters rejoice over a report they haven't seen while failing to realize there are 16 other investigations surrounding their hero. SAD!

7) Mueller By the Numbers
- 37 indictments
- 8 guilty pleas/convictions
- 6 who don't yet know their legal fate
- 10 years, 7 months, & 2 weeks worth of prison time (thus far)

If this was a "witch hunt," it seems quite obvious Trump associates with a lot witches...

8) 1) GOP: "You can't indict a sitting president, even if he's guilty!"

2) The president doesn't get indicted.

3) GOP: "You see?!? He's innocent!"

9) Trebek: "Zero."

Contestant: "What are the number of Republicans who would call Obama completely vindicated had he been in Trump's position with regard to the Mueller report?"

Trebek: "That is correct."

Contestant: "I'll take 'GOP BS' for $400, Alex."

12) 1) Countless people lied to protect Trump.
2) Trump lies at a record-breaking clip to protect himself.
3) DT won't release his taxes or testify under oath.
4) He wasn't exonerated.
5) McConnell doesn't want the Mueller report released.

13) A shirt Mueller is bound to wear in the future: "I investigated Trump-Russia for 2 years and all I got was a 4-page report filled with bold 72-sized font from a hand-picked attorney general."

14) Stop it with the it's-too-soon-to-talk-about-this routine. If we had talked about this sooner, the #NewZealandShooting may have never happened. Ignoring a problem and waiting for the "perfect" time to discuss it won't make it go away; it'll just elongate said problem.

15) Obama: "Who's investigating investigating me? Fire them all! Nominate that super-fan of mine for attorney general too! The investigation has been going on for 2 years? Have the AG write a haiku about it."

GOP: "Vindicated!"

Yeah, like that would ever happen...

16) Public: "They're investigating him for any murder, right?"
Media: "There's evidence of him killing at least one person."
Judge: "He didn't kill Jim-Bob Hootenanny."
GOP: "He didn't commit any murders then!"
See how ridiculous that sounds?

17) Mueller: "Trump is not exonerated, not even in the slightest bit."

Trump: "I was fully exonerated!"

Giuliani: "Hey, exoneration isn't exoneration! I mean, not exoneration is exoneration! Yeah, that's it."

18) If reports of the Mueller report being 700 pages are true, Barr's letter would have represented one-half of one percent of it. To place that in perspective, if a person making $1M annually received 0.5 of 1% of that, he/she'd make $5,000 per year.

19) Barr: "If a person covers a crime with another crime, but that first crime is found to not be a crime beyond a reasonable doubt, then that second crime can't be a crime at all."

Yeah, okay...

20) "You're disgusting for talking about this right now! Respect the victims!"
Really? How about we learn to respect the seriousness of a threat/situation so that innocent people don't become victims? The longer we hold off on that, the more victims there will be.

Boycotting jukeboxes because of TouchTunes

I love music and enjoy hitting the bar(s) over the weekend, so naturally, when the mood strikes me, I've never been coy about playing some songs on the jukebox. This past Thursday, a friend of mine turned 50, so several friends of her's, including myself, all met up to celebrate the occasion. At around 9:30, a friend of mine and I both chipped in $5 to play some songs on the jukebox. Four hours and 231 skips later, we gave up on hearing the songs we had selected, and went home knowing we had just wasted $5. This wasn't the first time such a thing had happened to me (and many others), and due to that, I'll be boycotting jukeboxes. Why? The scam known as TouchTunes. You see, here's how the plot typically breaks down. A person (or group of people) downloads the TouchTunes app on his/her phone, consumes one too many adult beverages, and due to this, has less care for spending extra money to hear the songs of their choosing right NOW. That's the thing with TouchTun

The difference between "looking" and "checking out"

I may be way off with these numbers, but it's my approximation that at least 75% of individuals whom are involved in a serious relationship feel it's perfectly acceptable to "check out" members of the opposite sex they're not involved with. Meanwhile, approximately 25% either don't feel this is acceptable or aren't sure about the matter. I hadn't thought about this matter for a while, but since I've been dating a woman for about 8 months, the topic has been pondered about some. When reading or hearing others discuss this very issue, I often times hear comments similar to the following: "It's human nature to look." "There's nothing wrong with checking others out. I'm sure he/she does it too!" "It's fine to do it. Just don't tell your boyfriend/girlfriend about it or do it in front of them!" "It's natural to find people attractive." When observing the array of comments, I i

The verdict is in. To no one's surprise, Jonathan Hoenig has been found guilty of being an idiot.

Just recently, when discussing the Michael Brown shooting and whether or not race had anything to do with it, Fox News contributor Jonathan Hoenig said, "You know who talks about race? Racists." One moment while I provide Mr. Hoenig with the well deserved slow-clap. :: slow-claps for two seconds :: So, that was quite the line by Mr. Hoenig, wasn't it? "You know who talks about race? Racists." Well, wasn't he just talking about race? So, by his own words, I guess that makes him a racist. Also, if he wants to be consistent, does this mean that people whom talk about gender are sexists and people whom talk about sexual orientation are homophobes? With that line of thinking, Hoenig would engage in the following back-and-forths: Hoenig: "So, who are you voting for?" A woman: "The Democratic candidate, because he's been adamant about his support for equal rights for women." Hoenig: "You sexist feminist nazi!"
